How it works

Leaderboard rules

Full tournament rules are in the cEDH PT rules & policy.

How do I get points, and how are they counted?

To keep things as fair as possible, and knowing not every player has the same access to invitational events, only your 3 best results count towards the leaderboard. You can keep improving your standing during the season to claim your spot in the finals.

What happens if a player wins more than one invitational?

They can pass the extra ticket down in order of standings, from the tournament where they won the second ticket. Tickets can’t be sold or given to another player. In special situations cEDH PT acts as the “middle man” to make sure the process stays fair.

Do I get points just for playing? How do splits and draws work?

Every player collects 1 point per tournament played, and the 3 best results still apply, so you can climb the leaderboard by participating and improve it by topping an event.

When the Top 4 split prizes by ID at an invitational, no player collects the winner’s points. Instead, everyone gets the 2nd-place points for that event’s tier. The top player in the standings still collects the cEDH European Championship ticket.

Who plays in the National Finals?

Invitational winners qualify automatically. The Top 40 on the leaderboard at the end of the season are invited to register for the National Finals.
